Here’s an example of what I am talking about. One of my high school friends returned to El Paso to visit her mom last year and came into my store. I hadn’t seen her for a long time and over the course of our conversation I found out that she had developed problems with blood clots and was on Coumadin®, a blood thinning medication. We talked about medical ID and, as usual, she said she wasn’t wearing any because she didn’t like the way it looked. How wonderful it has been for me to be able to do what I love to do, design jewelry, and save someone’s life, all at the same time. It doesn’t get much better than that!
